Federation Science Day

Yesterday Catfield School hosted our Federation Science Day. We had lots of fun and learnt quite a bit too. We made gloop, paper boats that moved, investigated static electricity, made and fired rockets and went bug hunting.

Making the most of the weather.

Yesterday we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy our P.E. lesson in the sunshine.

This afternoon, as a part of our design and technology learning, we investigated levers.
We looked at lots of household things.

We investigated what force we needed to use to operate them.

World Book Day

What a strange day we had yesterday. We all came to school in our pyjamas!!!
We also had lots of fun working with Red and Green Classes.
Can you guess the story we were working on in Red Class?

The watery theme continued in Green Class. Here we made sea creatures.
