This week we are having lots of fun and learning too!

We were lucky enough to have the Energy Savers workshop in school today.

The week so far....

This week we have been learning about Jack and the Beanstalk in literacy.
This is linked to our topic work on castles.

We have made story maps.

We have made puppets and retold the story using our story maps.

Some of us have finished making a room for a castle.

We have also enjoyed playing with our new toy castle.

Week ending Friday 13th November

Once again we have been busy with our learning.
This week we have not only had fun learning outside, had a not uniform day but also enjoyed joining Hickling and Catfield schools for a celebration of Diwali.

In Literacy we have been learning about the story Jack and the Beanstalk.
Some children used puppets to re-enact the main features of the story.

Friday's Music Lesson

Orange Class enjoyed playing different instruments during our music lesson.
Some children even pretended to be the conductor!

Norwich castle

First day back after half term has been an exciting one for us, with a trip to Norwich Castle to help us step back in time.

We got to try on some heavy chainmail.

Even the adults had to join in!



We sorted objects according to who might use them in the castle.



We looked at the castle from the outside.

Norwich Cathedral Visit.

We had a great day at the cathedral.


We lit a candle and said a prayer.
